Jason Carroll, Partner

Prior to establishing Lotusland Communications, Jason worked in a Communications consulting role for the provincial statutory agency, WorkSafeBC. Jason worked on a range of projects, including organizing and planning BC’s first Manufacturing Safety Conference, and coordinating the rollout of all departmental sectors’ action plans for 2008.  His contribution helped improve communication flows internally and between WorkSafeBC and its external stakeholders.

Jason has also worked in China and South Korea where he taught professional and business English in private foreign language schools to members of the banking and business community. His Mandarin language skills and extensive knowledge of Chinese customs and culture enabled him to organize and market large-scale events, as well as manage staff members.

When not working Jason enjoys volunteering within the community, most recently with UBC’s Peer Academic Coaching program, where he mentored second year international students on academic probation and aided their transition into the university community.

Jason was educated at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
